
EXHIBITION: MANCIU', THE LAST EMPEROR
Treviso - Cà dei Carraresi from 29 October 2011 to 20 May 2012
Casa dei Carraresi, in Treviso, is home to the largest exhibition ever held on the Manciù even in China until now, "Manciù, the Last Emperor", from 29 October 2011 to May 20 2012. This is a huge exposure about many areas of China's past and celebrating the fortieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and China. For fans of historical artifacts and ancient weapons you can admire the conquest of China, the treasures of the Imperial Palace, the beautiful jewels of the court and the majestic Imperial wardrobe. Another section is about the famous paintings of Castiglione (Italian artist of the period known in China as Lang Shining), and at the end of the exhibition "Manciù, the Last Emperor" will be displayed 15 works of the greatest contemporary Chinese painter: Jiang Guofang. Through documents, photographs and jewelry, we can see the life of Pu Yi, the last Emperor of China.

OPENING TIMES: On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: from 9.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m.; - on Friday, Saturday, Sunday: from 9.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
Ticket sales will be suspended one hour before the close of the Exhibition.
CLOSING TIMES: every Monday, 24, 25 and 31 December, and the morning of the first day of January 2012. SPECIAL OPENINGS: on Monday 31 October, Monday 26 December, Monday 2 nd January, on Monday 9 April.

- Full: € 12.00 (including audio guide)
- Reduced: € 10.00 (students with student card or booklet; over 65 years)
- Reduced: € 9.00 (up to age 18 years) Free entry for children under 5 years old and disabled and their escorts.
